Job Title: Inventory Analyst II
Job : JDJP
Duration: 12 months contract to start with, will extend as needed
Responsibilities:- Implements inventory audits and other related inventory transactions to measure accuracy.
- Compiles inventory audit requirements with Deere and other companies. Works out reports of inventory.
- Supervises/Work Directs salary and/or wage personnel (Cycle Counters lower level Inventory Analyst).
- Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to ensure they are functionally designed e.g. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process, cycle counting process or disposition of excess material.
- Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
- Coordinates and analyzes daily, monthly and/or annual inventory audits e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy.
- Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports.
- Provides work direction and/or coaching as necessary to less experienced personnel; ensures completion of administrative support to the Human Resources.
- Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, producing and delivering material on time. Includes managing the movement of rejected material to source.
- Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management.
- Finds root cause of material shortages.
- May provide recommendations for solutions.
- Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
- May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
- Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.
- Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
- Competencies, technical skills, formal education and relevant work experience critical for successful individual performance of essential functions.
- Manager prefers candidates with 2 year degree.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Business casual dress code.
- Will need metatarsals for first day.
