CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist – Magic Circle Manufacturing, a division of Acme Foundry Coffeyville, KS

Magic Circle Manufacturing is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to perform precision machining tasks at our Coffeyville, Kansas facility. The ideal candidate will work with CNC machines to produce high‑quality parts under strict safety and quality standards.

The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating CNC equipment, maintaining tooling and programs, and ensuring parts meet specifications. Key duties include:

• Load raw material and unload finished product, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Secure tooling and fixtures using hand tools.
• Inspect finished parts using blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
• Adjust tooling and programming to keep parts within tolerance.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.
• Keep the work environment clean and free of chips.
• Maintain a safe work area and follow all established work procedures.

We are willing to train motivated individuals, but the following qualifications are preferred:

• Solid working knowledge of mathematics.
• Proficiency with common tools and machine operation.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Positive, motivated attitude.

No formal education required; prior machine operator experience is preferred.
