Guest Relations Associate

Full Time – Entry Level

Reports directly to Store Director, Assistant Store Director, Grocery Manager, Guest Relations Manager.

• Maintain exceptional customer service for all clientele.
• Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies.
• Execute all customer service functions such as cashiering, lottery, Western Union, Rug Doctor, video rental, in-store charges, money orders, payroll check cashing, credit card machines, and hunting and fishing license sales.
• Assist other departments as needed; learn stocking tobacco areas.
• Ensure carry-outs offer quick, efficient service or parcel pick‑up for all customers.
• Monitor front‑end associates to ensure focus on the customer.

• Develop knowledge and assist with office/bookkeeping functions at store level.
• Maintain knowledge and training on all customer service transactions.
• Comply with all company policies including dress code and wearing a name tag.

Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25‑50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10‑20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.

Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments used in preparations of food items or removing products from boxes. This is medium work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
