An EOT Crane Operator is responsible for operating electric overhead traveling cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment safely and efficiently in industrial, construction, or warehouse settings. The operator ensures smooth crane operations while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment integrity.
* Operate EOT cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment as per lifting procedure.
* Inspect the crane and rigging equipment for safety and proper functioning before and after use.
* Follow load charts, signals, and guidelines to ensure safe and precise handling of loads.
* Communicate effectively with ground personnel and supervisors during operations.
* Maintain crane logs, report any defects, malfunctions, or safety hazards promptly.
* Adhere strictly to workplace safety rules, OSHA standards, and company policies.
* Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of the crane.
* Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
* Ensure the work area is clear of obstructions and personnel during crane operation.

* Qualifications:

*** Proven experience operating EOT cranes or similar overhead cranes.
* Knowledge of crane load charts, rigging techniques, and safety regulations.
* Certification or license for crane operation (as required by local laws).
* Ability to interpret hand signals and communicate clearly.
* Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
* Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of crane operation.
* Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment inspection and troubleshooting.
** Work Environment:
*** Industrial warehouses, construction sites, manufacturing plants, or shipyards.
* May involve working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
* Safety gear such as helmets, gloves, and safety shoes are mandatory.
