Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Study Abroad Counselor. The Study Abroad Counselor will provide personalized guidance to students and their families, assess academic and career goals, and recommend suitable international programs and universities. The individual will assist with application procedures, documentation, and compliance with admission processes. They will also offer support for visa applications and pre-departure preparations while maintaining communication between students, universities, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and families.
Knowledge and experience in academic counseling, career guidance, and student development.
Familiarity with international education systems, university application procedures, and visa processes.
Highly organized with attention to detail in handling documentation and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or CRM software for managing student records and workflows.
Passion for helping students achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or related fields is preferred.
Prior experience in academic advising, university liaison, or customer service is an asset.
