We are inviting applications from passionate and competent educators for the role of IBDP/ A Level Physics Teacher, who can effectively teach and mentor students in advanced level Physics, preparing them for IBDP & Cambridge International Examinations and beyond

Responsibilities (include but not limited to
):

Deliver conceptually strong, engaging and inquiry-driven lessons primarily for IBDP Physics, along with Cambridge AS/A Level Physics, covering core and advanced topics such as Mechanics, Fields, Waves, Electricity, Magnetism, Thermal Physics, Quantum and Nuclear Physics, Modern Physics, Practical Skills and Internal Assessment-related component
s.Plan and deliver lessons in alignment with the IBDP Physics syllabus requirements, assessment objectives, command terms, inquiry framework and learner profile expectations, while also ensuring effective coverage of Cambridge AS/A Level syllabus expectation
s.Use inquiry-based learning, experimentation, data analysis, simulation tools, research-based tasks and problem-solving strategies to strengthen conceptual understanding and scientific reasoning among student
s.Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, scientific investigation and application-oriented learning in line with IB philosophy and Cambridge academic benchmark
s.Prepare detailed lesson plans, unit plans, schemes of work and academic calendars aligned with IBDP Physics and Cambridge AS/A Level Physics curriculum expectation
s.Ensure proper alignment of instructional goals with learner outcomes, assessment criteria, practical requirements, examination patterns and subject-specific academic target
s.Design and implement projects, assignments, research tasks, laboratory investigations and inquiry-based activities to promote experiential and reflective learnin
g.Guide students effectively in IBDP Physics Internal Assessment, including topic selection, research question framing, methodology, data collection, analysis, evaluation, academic honesty and final report writin
g.Design internal assessments, quizzes, topic tests, mock examinations, practice papers and revision materials aligned with IBDP and Cambridge AS/A Level assessment pattern
s.Prepare students for external examinations by strengthening conceptual clarity, command term understanding, question interpretation, time management, structured responses, data-based questions and marking scheme expectation
s.Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, assessment outcomes, practical work, feedback, remedial support and academic improvement plan
s.Conduct hands-on laboratory sessions in line with safety standards and ensure proper usage, handling and maintenance of lab equipment, materials and scientific resource
s.Guide students in maintaining lab records, writing scientific reports, interpreting experimental results, analysing data and drawing evidence-based conclusion
s.Track student performance regularly, identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial, enrichment or extension support based on individual student need
s.Mentor students for university pathways, competitive examinations, science fairs, research-based opportunities and STEM-related academic progression, wherever require
d.Act as a class teacher, homeroom mentor or student advisor when assigned, supporting students’ academic progress, emotional well-being, discipline, attendance and overall develop men
t.Work collaboratively with the Programme Coordinator, subject coordinators, academic leaders, lab team and cross-disciplinary faculty to ensure effective curriculum delivery and student suppor
t.Participate actively in curriculum review meetings, collaborative planning sessions, standardisation meetings, school events, parent interactions, academic reviews and examination preparation discussion
s.Engage in continuous professional development, including relevant IB, Cambridge and subject-specific training sessions, workshops and academic learning programme
s.Use digital platforms, simulations, e-learning tools, online resources and learning management systems to enhance lesson delivery, student engagement and blended learning practice
s.Maintain an organised, resource-rich and regularly updated online classroom environment with lesson materials, assignments, assessment resources, feedback records and student learning support material
