About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Architect to lead the modernization of a large-scale Healthcare Information System (HIS) / Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the technical vision, driving platform transformation, and leading AI-driven innovation initiatives while ensuring seamless continuity of healthcare operations. This role requires a strong background in full-stack application development, enterprise architecture, healthcare technology platforms, and AI integration.

Required Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in software development, architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Kotlin-based application development.
Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale applications and micro services.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, indexing, replication, and schema design.

Experience with API Gateway technologies such as Kong, AWS API Gateway, or Nginx.
Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, Debezium, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and distributed systems.
Experience in CI/CD implementation and Dev Ops practices.
Expertise in automated testing, integration testing, and quality engineering practices.
Ability to analyze and modernize complex legacy systems.

AI & Emerging Technology Skills

Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Knowledge of AI integration architectures and vendor evaluation frameworks.

Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and modern engineering practices.
Familiarity with model governance, auditability, and responsible AI implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Healthcare IT, HIS, EMR, or EHR platforms.
Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, and DPDP compliance standards.
Experience integrating AI/ML services into production systems.
Exposure to feature flag frameworks and progressive deployment strategies.
Prior experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
