Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your manufacturing and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll drive operational excellence and contribute to delivering high-quality manufacturing solutions. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as industrialization, sourcing and logistics, quality, and HR), implement lean manufacturing strategies, and ensure safety and environmental compliance, among other responsibilities.
You'll specifically take care of managing production objectives, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives, but also oversee the deployment of industrial strategies and new product introductions.

We'll look to you for:

Successfully deploying best practices to achieve world-class excellence in production, including lean manufacturing implementation.
Defining and managing production organization (planning, manufacturing, testing, logistics, quality inspection, etc.).
Contributing to process improvement during serial production and capturing return of experience (REX) from the shop floor.
Ensuring workforce management and planning as per site sales and operations plans.
Maintaining a safe working environment and promoting environmental compliance.
Providing effective mentoring and coaching to team members to achieve functional objectives.
Driving continuous improvement in productivity and quality while managing department KPIs.
Supporting repair activities and addressing customer-related issues.
Leading the implementation of APSYS (Alstom Production System) within the manufacturing domain.

Education:

BE in ECE/EEE/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 18 years of experience in assembly production from product manufacturing industries within OEM or Tier 1 industries.
Experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment is essential.
Knowledge of traction drives or switch gear products is desirable.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and decision-making abilities.
Experience in quality management systems, environmental management systems, and industrial safety practices.
Critical competencies in EHS, product knowledge, process and methods knowledge, lean management, people management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a focus on quality.
