Sandfits Foundries Private Limited is a pre-eminent iron casting manufacturing company that produces Grey Iron, Ductile Iron, CG Iron, and AD Iron. Sandfits has 3 foundries with a capacity of 60000 tons PA. Sandfits has a dedicated machine shop to deliver precision iron components to customers worldwide. Sandfits Foundries are located in and around Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and has a certified IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

For the new state of art Machine Shop for International customers  we are looking for the Assistant Engineer Quality. The selected person will be responsible for the quality of the products produced in the line. He will ensure that the product meets both functional and customer quality requirements in terms of functional specifications. He / she will conduct routine, random and final inspections to identify defects, variations and work collaboratively with production team to ensure we produce continually parts confirming the requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production Monitoring:  Conducting in-process inspections on the production line to ensure compliance with customer requirements / standards
Quality Auditing:  Performing final audits on finished vehicles or components, checking all aspects of the component.
Defect Detection:  Identifying, marking, and reporting defects or, if necessary, halting production.
Documentation:  Recording inspection results, test data, and non-conformances in inspection reports.
Tool Usage:  Using specialized measuring instruments gauges
Analysis:  Analysis of defects and non-conformance, discuss with the Quality manager to work with production department to prevent the quality issues occurring.
Compliance:  Ensuring adherence to ISO and company-specific quality standards.

Qualification and Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality function of automotive industry. Experience in Machining Industry in preferable. Preference will be given for immediate joiners.
