Sales Representative

Since 2016, TMH has also provided a broad range of luxury carpets and rugs sourced from Belgium and Turkey. Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Coimbatore. The Sales Representative will greet customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable mattresses, carpets, and rugs from TMH's product range. Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, guiding customers through brand and price comparisons, and ensuring a positive in-store experience from first contact to closing the sale. The role also involves maintaining product displays, keeping the showroom clean and organized, updating product and pricing information, and processing orders and payments accurately.

The Sales Representative will follow up with customers when needed, support promotional activities and in-store events, and collaborate with the team to meet or exceed sales targets.
Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with diverse customers.
Sales and retail experience, including needs-based selling, handling objections, and closing sales in a showroom or store environment.
Basic product learning aptitude, with willingness to develop in-depth knowledge of mattresses, carpets, rugs, and related accessories.
Organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining displays, managing multiple customers, and handling transactions accurately.
Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for billing, inventory checks, and customer records.
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light product movement within the showroom, observing safe handling practices.
Fluency in English and local languages commonly spoken in Coimbatore; strong verbal communication is essential.
Previous experience in furniture, home décor, or mattress retail is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, retail, or business is a plus.
