Overview

General Hours

Monday – Thursday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Compensation

Hourly: $22.00 – $27.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent chair‑side clinical support and assistance to doctors and hygienists, including charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X‑rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Skills Required
  • Dental assisting certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Radiography/X‑ray certification for the respective state.
  • Infection control certification.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
