Full Time (37.5 hours per week) Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45 Friday: 08:00 - 15:30 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day Total: 37.5 hours per week Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to support the finance team during a department restructure following the transition to a Shared Service model. This is a temporary contract expected to last between 4 and 8 weeks and offers an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance function.

Key Responsibilities Processing and managing sales ledger transactions accurately and efficiently. Raising and processing customer invoices. Maintaining customer accounts and resolving invoice queries. Supporting cash allocation and account reconciliation activities. Ensuring sales ledger records are up to date and compliant with company procedures. Assisting the finance team during the ongoing restructure project. About the Team The Sales Ledger team currently consists of 3 team members.

The department processes approximately 400 invoices per week . Individual workloads are typically around 150 invoices per person per week . Candidate Requirements Previous Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and organisational skills. Experience working within a finance team during periods of change would be advantageous.
