Accounts Assistant

Are you an Accounts Assistant with AAT Level 4 (or nearly there) looking for a role where you’re genuinely supported to grow? Join a friendly, collaborative team in Colchester and put your AAT Level 4 skills to work across a varied client base.

The Role

* Prepare accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies

* Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships

* Assist with personal, business and

* accurate financial record‑keeping

* Prepare VAT returns and help clients with digital record‑keeping

* Communicate with clients, gather information and respond to queries

* Maintain high‑quality working papers and files

* Use cloud accounting software including Xero, Quick Books, Sage and CCH

* Support colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the office

About You

* AAT Level 4 qualified or close to completion

* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

* Confident with cloud accounting software and Excel

* Clear communicator who enjoys working with clients

* Organised, proactive and eager to keep developing
