Accountant - diverse clients, supportive firm, progressive

Reed Practice have been engaged by a respectable chartered certified accountancy firm based in Colchester, to recruit an Accountant for their high calibre team.

The firm has been providing businesses and individuals services for decades, but still move with the times, adapting to changing markets, a testament to their outlook, talents and service.

The role of Accountant will include -

• Preparing Sole Trader, Partnership and Limited Company accounts for a variety of clients, to FRS 102 Section A and FRS 105
• Preparing associated Corporation Tax returns.
• Preparing self-assessment tax returns
• Providing bookkeeping services and supporting clients with their bookkeeping queries when required.
• Liaising with H M Revenue & Customs on behalf of, and regarding clients.
• Advising clients on a variety of queries.
• You will use various systems such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, Excel, Dext, CCH

We invite those with the following to apply:

• AAT or ACCA qualified (preferred)
• Strong Xero experience (strong desired)
• Proven experience providing accounting services within an accounting firm working to FRS 102
• Excellent skills in communicating, organising, time keeping
