A client of ours on the outskirts of Colchester are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time temporary position, initially for 3 months with the potential to become permanent. Part-time hours may also be considered. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to:- Supporting with day-to-day accounts duties
- Processing invoices, payments and general financial transactions
- Assisting with purchase and sales ledger
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data
- Using Sage to support general accounts administration
- Previous experience in an accounts/finance role
- Good all-round knowledge of accounts processes
- Sage 50 experience is essential - Sage 200 experience would be advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Candidate must be able to drive, as the company location is not easily accessible by public transport
