We are seeking a SENCO Administrator to join our team. In this role you will work in liaison with curriculum and teaching staff to provide appropriate support for students, with the overall aim to ensure that all students progress on their programmes and that they are equipped with the skills and information needed to reach a positive destination; thus, positively contributing to the College’s retention, attendance and destination results.

About the role- Prepare, collate, and quality check documentation for EHCP reviews, statutory consultations, and multi agency meetings.
- Liaise with parents/carers, local authorities, and external professionals to gather required information and ensure timely return of paperwork.
- Track statutory deadlines and ensure all documentation is submitted within required time frames.
- Support the Assistant SENCO in maintaining accurate records of EHCP processes, outcomes, and communications.
- Update internal systems (EBS, Pro Monitor), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a first point of contact for administrative queries relating to EHCPs and SEN processes.
- Ensure clear, timely communication of EHCP outcomes and required actions to curriculum teams.
- During busy periods, support the Inclusive Support Administrators with EAA referrals, evidence gathering, and documentation, ensuring consistency and compliance with JCQ regulations.
- Support the organisation of assessments with Specialist Support Tutors where required.
- Maintain accurate records of EAA decisions and ensure information is shared appropriately with the Exams Team.
- Experience in an administrative role
- Experience liaising with parents/carers and external agencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above or Literacy or equivalent
