  • Proofread and quality-check documentation, ensuring a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Produce, maintain, update and distribute important unit documentation.
  • Undertake PA-style duties, including coordinating accommodation, hotel and transport bookings.
  • Liaise confidently and professionally with military personnel of all ranks, external organisations and other key stakeholders.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion.
  • Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to maintain accurate records, trackers and administrative information.
  • Proactively follow up outstanding information and actions to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the wider headquarters team with additional administrative duties as required.
What You Bring:
  • Significant previous experience in a strong administrative role is essential.
  • A proven ability to manage a demanding workload and multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Confidence working independently and making decisions within your area of responsibility.
  • A confident, resilient and assertive communication style, with the ability to build professional working relationships at all levels.
  • The confidence to work effectively within a structured military environment and communicate with personnel of varying ranks.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Excellent written communication, keyboard and telephone skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to remain professional and composed when working under pressure.
  • A proactive approach - you'll be someone who takes ownership, follows things through and does not need constant direction.
  • A high level of discretion and understanding of confidentiality.
  • Previous experience within the MOD, Armed Forces…
