Our client, a reputable family-run automotive business with longstanding roots in the community, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Benefits:
Competitive annual salary with an OTE potential of £39,000
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:30pm, with no weekends required

Duties:
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues
Perform repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other critical components
Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Communicate effectively with the service department to ensure smooth workflow
Complete vehicle safety inspections and prepare reports
Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet customer deadlines
Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of vehicle servicing
Requirements:
Minimum of a Level 2 NVQ or equivalent qualification in vehicle repair or servicing
Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points
Prior experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Confident in diagnosing vehicle faults and executing repairs effectively
Ability to work efficiently within a team and follow safety protocols
Ideally, hold an MOT licence, although this is not a strict requirement
Friendly, driven attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
