Work with usKwik Fit
- Colchester

This role offers an OTE of £37,000-£42,000 inclusive of basic salary and bonus.

We are looking for an MOT Tester with MOT Testing experience to join us to support local centres as a Floating MOT Tester. Within this role you will carry out MOT Testing at a range of centres in the local area.

Are you getting the rewards you deserve for the trust you build with customers when you put their car through its MOT? This is your chance to work for an employer that understands how valuable that is. We’re hiring MOT Testers right now at Kwik Fit. You’ll get great pay and benefits, and we’ll help you progress if that’s what you want to do—we’ve recently invested massively in making Kwik Fit the place to be if you want to develop a rewarding career for life.

You’ll deliver all aspects of the MOT test to Government standards, with the key objective of keeping our customers safe on the road. You’ll support the customer through the process—updating them with progress, any work that needs doing, and, where necessary, why their car failed. It's all about building lifelong customer relationships, and you’ll put as much into that as you do the technical aspects of your role.

• You’ll need a valid MOT licence and driving licence.
• You’ll also be able to reassure customers that they’re in safe hands and build rapport so that they choose us for their MOT every year.
• If there's work to be done around the Centre, you’ll always be up for pitching in with your colleagues whenever you get a spare moment.

One of the great things about working with a large company like Kwik Fit is the amazing benefits package. It includes:

• Discount at supermarkets and high street retailers
• Up to 50% off at Kwik Fit
• Wagestream—access your wages before payday
• Eyecare—free examinations and discounted/free glasses
• Easy-book appointments with a free online GP
• Cycle-to-work scheme
• Free mortgage advice
• Life assurance
• Employee Assistance Programme
• Full-pay paternity leave
