Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead a team of up to 10 Personal Move Assistants at our Colchester Head Office. This role involves driving sales, managing team performance, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Achieve team KPI targets by securing new listing opportunities through proactive customer engagement.
- Enhance team performance through targeted training and development.
- Drive the sales process, ensuring business growth and client retention.
- Represent and promote Spicerhaart’s brand values and core beliefs.
- Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks for regional branches.
- Operate within company standards, policies, and systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with branch managers and regional teams.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and return‑to‑work meetings.
- Deliver new starter inductions and act as a role model for the team.
- Strong teamwork and ability to create an enjoyable working environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills, exceeding customer expectations.

- Competitive basic salary between £25,000–£27,000 per annum.
- Uncapped 10% commission override on team’s performance.

Working hours:
Rota pattern covering early and late shifts Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm and 11 am to 8 pm. 1 in 3 Saturdays with a day off in lieu the following week.
