Position: After School Sports Coach (Casual/0-Hour Contract)

After School Sports Coach – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company

School Locations in Colchester and surrounding area (CO2 7RU
, CO5 8QX
, CO6 2RH
, CO16 0BP
)

Provision Hours = 3pm-4:30pm Monday to Friday

£10-£13 per hour (depending on age, experience and qualifications)

Please note:

Due to the remote location of some schools, the ability to drive will be advantageous

We are recruiting for a leading provider of out of school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in Essex and they are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about children’s sport, play and activity, and someone who can inspire the generation of children!

This role offers the opportunity to gain experience delivering after school sports sessions to primary age children within a wraparound club environment and, as a Sports Coach in this role, you only need to have knowledge and a love of sports as well as...

  • A Passion for Working with Children: we’re looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests.
  • Enthusiasm and Organisation

    Skills:

    you will be assisting with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
  • Responsibility and Reliability: the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your responsibility and all team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed, and the children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff.
  • Communication and Engagement: all staff are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis. You will be a representative of the organisation's brand so it's key to always be a pleasure to be around!
