We are partnering with a ‘cradle to grave’ project delivery partner specialising in planning, commercial and project management. Due to continued growth in their team, they are seeking an experienced ECC Supervisor to aid with their civils and utilities projects.
Responsibilities
* Site Operations Oversight
Lead and supervise on site construction activities for water infrastructure projects, ensuring all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with project specifications, NEC4 ECC requirements, and health & safety regulations. Provide guidance to contractors and on-site teams to maintain high standards of delivery.
* Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor contractor performance against the approved programme, identifying delays, risks, or non-compliances. Prepare and issue detailed progress reports, early warnings, and recommendations to the Project Manager to support proactive decision making and schedule management.
* Quality Assurance & Inspection
Conduct comprehensive site inspections, verify that all workmanship and materials meet design specifications, technical standards, and contractual obligations. Witness hold points, critical activities, and testing procedures, ensuring all work is compliant with NEC4 ECC and client expectations.
* Record Keeping & Contract Compliance
Maintain accurate, up to date records of site activities, variations, instructions, and formal communications. Ensure all NEC4 ECC contractual requirements, notices, and documentation are correctly issued and archived, supporting audit readiness and contractual transparency.
* Stakeholder Coordination & Issue Resolution
Act as the primary on site contact for client representatives, contractors, and subcontractors. Facilitate smooth communication, resolve site issues efficiently, and escalate matters as required, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining strong working relationships and adherence to contractual obligations.
Requirements
Must have proven experience in ECC supervision on Water/wastewater projects
Must be based within a commutable distance of Essex/Suffolk
Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
Benefits
£300 - £325 per day
