Key responsibilities include:

Conducting site inspections across residential and commercial developments. Assessing plans and specifications for compliance with Building Regulations. Inspecting and approving foundations, excavations, drainage installations, reinforced concrete works, and structural groundworks. Providing technical guidance to developers, architects, contractors, and homeowners. Producing inspection reports and supporting projects through to completion certification. Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, legislation, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working within Building Control, either with a Local Authority or Registered Building Control Approver. Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation. Proven experience inspecting foundations, drainage, groundworks, and structural elements. The ability to interpret technical drawings and construction documentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A full UK driving licence. Desirable qualifications include: CABE, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent professional accreditation.

Registered Building Inspector status (Class 2A or above). Experience across both residential and commercial projects.
