Site Foreman

Site Foreman – Across Colchester, Essex & Ipswich, Suffolk Water Region

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for experienced Site Foremen to join ongoing projects across the Colchester, Essex and Ipswich, Suffolk Water region. This is a long-term opportunity working on key water infrastructure, utilities, and civil engineering projects.

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme
• Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and plant operators on water and utility projects
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, RAMS, and company procedures
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions where required
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards across the site
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational requirements
• Coordinate excavation, reinstatement, drainage, ducting, and utility installation works
• Liaise with site management, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near misses immediately
• Maintain accurate site records, permits, and workforce documentation

• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
• Valid EUSR CAT & Genny
• Valid Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) Ticket
• Proven experience supervising teams on utilities, water, civil engineering, or groundwork projects
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site management responsibilities
• Experience coordinating multiple work activities and managing site resources
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to motivate teams and deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to various site locations

• £29.07 per hour (PAYE)
