Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team.

Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? As our new Electrical Construction Manager, you will lead on all Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability requirements. Covering Water and Water Recycling non-infrastructure and infrastructure projects. Acting as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015, youll ensure full compliance across all delivered construction.

Driving a culture of zero accidents and zero defects. By guiding local construction delivery teams, youll help achieve key milestones and maintain high-quality service for our customers. In this role, youll manage site construction teams across allocated portfolios to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget. You will facilitate project kick-off meetings, complete health checks, and oversee tier 2 supplier performance, ensuring RAMS are appropriate and robust.

Youll also take ownership of Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsals and Fit for Assembly sign-off, promoting innovation and best practice throughout delivery. A strong focus on zero waste, reducing embodied carbon and implementing a blend of standardised and innovative construction methods will be central to your approach. Working closely with the Lead Construction Manager, youll support the development of long- and short-term resource plans covering labour, plant and materials.

Youll ensure site teams raise timely contractual and commercial notices, reinforcing effective communication across the wider project team. Above all, youll champion a positive safety culture where everyone feels safe and empowered to raise concerns. Through strong leadership, technical excellence and proactive management, you will help maintain our position as an industry leader in safe, efficient and innovative construction delivery.

What you'll bring To join the team, youll have proven experience of managing operational resources. Working in a fast-paced Non-Infrastructure and infrastructure environment to compliment your HNC/Degree in Electrical or Construction Management. Experience in dealing with large structures in the Water industry is essential. Having attended a NEBOSH Training Scheme, youll hold a CSCS Card (Black minimum). Ensuring you provide the highest levels of safety management to our teams, customers and environment.

Able to inspire and lead a team. Youll encourage and support groups and people to achieve critical tasks and outcomes with the ability to adopt a can-do attitude. And have the willingness to be hands-on if required to achieve the deliverables. Youll be able to operate at all levels to suit need and the situation with the ability to manage conflicting demands.

Youll demonstrate excellent communication skills and will be performance-driven, with proven experience of managing multiple stakeholder groups both internal and external to the organisation.
