Architect - Residential

A growing, commercially-minded design consultancy is on the hunt for an Architect to strengthen its Residential team in Colchester.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Architect, you'll take ownership of planning layouts and masterplan proposals for a client base that spans private developers through to well-renowned house builders. Your work will largely sit at RIBA stages 0-3, shaping schemes from initial concept through to a robust, submission-ready package. Expect close day-to-day involvement with colleagues across planning and technical disciplines as projects move from feasibility to consent.

What We're Looking For

ARB/RIBA Qualfied Architect

Solid track record designing residential & masterplan schemes

Hands-on experience delivering work for house builder clients

A confident grasp of planning policy across the UK

A knack for balancing creative ambition with commercial reality and policy compliance

Comfortable collaborating across teams and communicating design intent clearly

Proficiency with AutoCAD & Sketch Up
