We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated LSA to join their inclusive hub from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs within a nurturing, well‑resourced setting that is committed to inclusion.

This is a friendly and forward‑thinking school with a strong inclusive ethos. The inclusive hub provides tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they can thrive both academically and socially within the wider school community.

The staff team is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on creativity, flexibility, and pupil wellbeing.

• Full-time Learning Support Assistant within the school’s inclusive hub
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD and communication needs
• Delivering creative, engaging and personalised support strategies
• Working 1:1 and in small groups
• Supporting pupils’ emotional, social and academic development
• Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCO and support staff

• A creative and adaptable approach to supporting learning
• Experience working with children with SEN (school or similar setting)
• A calm, patient and nurturing manner
• A genuine passion for inclusion and helping every child succeed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
