We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their successful department. Job Overview:
  • This secondary school caters for students aged 11-16.
  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, Computer Science Teacher role.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Computer Science lessons across KS3-KS4.
  • Teach topics including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, data representation, and digital systems.
  • Inspire students through practical and interactive learning opportunities.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support strong attainment.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team and department staff.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs or STEM activities.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence, analytical thinking, and digital skills for future education and careers.

What we're looking for:
