Level Teaching Assistant, KPI EDUCATION

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to deliver high-quality support across a range of subjects and year groups. You will be trusted to lead small group interventions, provide targeted support for students with additional needs, and occasionally deliver lessons in the absence of teaching staff.

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering planned lessons and activities when required
• Leading small group and one-to-one interventions
• Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
• Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral support
• Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies

• Previous experience working within a school setting
• HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong behaviour management abilities
• A passion for supporting young people to achieve success
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to education

• Permanent position from September 2026
