We are looking to appoint a Play Team member to join our happy, positive and supportive team. Braiswick Primary are utilising the OPAL scheme of play at lunchtimes with our pupils. (Please see Job Specification for more details).
The role will be to assist children as required during their lunch and to provide playground support and supervision to ensure the children have safe and happy lunchtimes. You will be working both inside and outside the school building; supervising children, setting up games, and looking after their wellbeing. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, enjoy working with children, and demonstrate good communication, organisation, patience and understanding.

In line with recommended practice in the statutory guidance “Keeping Children Safe in Education”, the school will conduct searches for information on shortlisted candidates which is publicly available online. The purpose is limited to identifying issues which call into question the applicant’s suitability to work with children and verifying employment history.

Searches will be conducted by an appropriate individual who is not a member of the recruitment panel to avoid potential discrimination.
