Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Colchester
, starting September
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and looking to develop their skills within a nurturing school environment that offers strong mentorship and ongoing professional development.

The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills, strong communication abilities, and proven experience supporting children with SEN across the primary age range.

• Rate of pay - £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm

• SEN experience is essential (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language, or other additional needs)
• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
• Relevant TA or SEN-specific training desirable
• Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child‑related references

• Free, accredited CPD courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
• Access to an in‑house Training & Development Team
