27.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 08:45am - 11:45am and 12:45pm - 15.15pm)

• Supervise play/learning and check understanding of activities
• Create a careful balance of providing support and providing opportunities to work/play independently
• Provide access to visual aids and concrete learning resources to support learning
• Help express needs and wishes
• Use strategies such as Now/Next visual schedules
• Facilitate involvement and participation in cooperative play
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Deliver specified programmes of intervention
• Support physical transitions
