The Alternative Provision is seeking to appoint a permanent Associate Assistant Headteacher
- Behaviour, Attendance & Culture (DDSL) from September. The successful candidate will lead on behaviour, attendance and school culture, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), and those accessing alternative education through referral pathways. Working alongside the senior leadership team, you will drive school improvement, champion inclusive practice and build strong relationships with families and external agencies to secure the very best outcomes for every pupil.
successful Associate Assistant Headteacher
- Behaviour, Attendance & Culture (DDSL) will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven leadership experience within a school, Alternative Provision or SEND environment
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, EBSA and complex behavioural needs
- Excellent knowledge of behaviour management, restorative practice and safeguarding
- Experience working collaboratively with external agencies including Social Care, CAMHS, Local Authorities and SEND services
- Outstanding communication, leadership and organisational skills with a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
- Leadership Scale 5 to Leadership Scale 8 salary (£57,137 - £61,534 per annum)
