SEND Teaching Assistant - Colchester

Location: Colchester, Essex
Pay: £95-£108 per day

Vision for Education is seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in welcoming schools across Colchester. Whether you have previous SEND experience or are looking to develop your career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

  • Work one-to-one and with small groups to help pupils achieve their full potential.

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

  • Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.

  • Encourage pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.

  • Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.

  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

What We're Looking For
