LEVEL 3 NURSERY PRACTITIONER – COLCHESTER

Full Time | Monday – Friday | Flexible Hours Between 8:00am – 18:00pm

Teacher Active are working with some amazing nurseries across Colchester, and we are looking to bring passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioners into their teams.

THE ROLE

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing a high standard of care and support to children aged 0–5

• Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

• Completing observations and contributing to children’s learning journeys

• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

• Creating a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment

• Supporting children’s individual needs and development

• Following safeguarding and child protection procedures

• Working as part of a strong and supportive Early Years team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as Level 3 Early Years Educator, Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce, CACHE Level 3 or equivalent

• Previous experience working within a nursery, pre-school or Early Years setting

• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A reliable, enthusiastic and professional approach

• The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues

• Paediatric First Aid is desirable

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable
