.

The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 6 class on a full-time basis
, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting pupils throughout their final year of primary education. You will play an important role in preparing pupils for end-of-KS2 assessments and SATs
, raising attainment and ensuring they are confident and prepared for their transition into secondary school.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong experience teaching Year 6 and/or Upper Key Stage 2.
• Excellent knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and end-of-KS2 expectations.
• Experience preparing pupils for SATs and using assessment to raise attainment.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• High expectations for pupil achievement and personal development.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
• A positive and collaborative approach to working within a Primary School team.
