An established UK manufacturer of dust and fume extraction equipment is seeking a Technical Manager to take ownership of the technical direction of the business. This newly created role offers strong opportunities for progression and the chance to play a key role in product development, technical leadership, and internal process improvement.

• Become the internal subject matter expert on the company's product range
• Research technologies and trends within the dust extraction industry
• Interpret and apply relevant British Standards to design and development
• Produce detailed design specifications for products and bespoke projects
• Own pricing for products and support commercial decision-making
• Identify suitable third‑party suppliers and technical solutions
• Ensure accuracy of sales, technical, and build documentation
• Support marketing activity and product launches when required

• Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
• Experience in a related industry (HVAC, fan systems, industrial filtration, or similar)
• Ability to source and manage external suppliers
• Strong IT literacy, including MS Excel
• Experience using Inventor or Solid Works

• Performance-related bonus
