Maternity Cover – 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

The Lecturer in Professional Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing is a dynamic role involving the delivery of high-quality engineering education, with the integration of essential English and maths skills where appropriate.

• Possess a Level 6 qualification or higher and/or a relevant professional qualification, or equivalent.
• English and Mathematics:
  Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (e.g. GCSE Grade 4/C or above, CSE Level 1, O-Level Grade C or above, or Level 2 Adult Literacy/Numeracy, or equivalent).
• Teaching
  
  Qualification:
  
  Hold a recognised teaching qualification.

• Proven experience within the mechanical or manufacturing engineering sector.
• Competent in using CAD and/or other relevant design software tools.
• Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or mentoring capacity.
