Hardware Test Development Engineer

Overview

Hardware Test Development Engineer – Hybrid / Essex – ££ Competitive. A Test Development Engineer with a proven understanding of electronic hardware and experience of developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment will take responsibility for developing and supporting ATE systems for an established Technology Company, a global leader in Embedded Computing products. Hybrid working and generous salary package on offer.

• A formal Electronic Engineering qualification.
• Proven understanding of electronic hardware.
• Commercial experience developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment.
• Proficiency with test instrumentation and test automation tools.
• Experience with DFT, BIST and diagnostic firmware features.
• Experience collaborating with software ATE developers to build integrated test platforms.

Exposure to the following would also be highly beneficial:
Embedded Computing systems, manufacturing processes such as SMT, assembly or AOI; experience with environmental testing and the ability to design simple custom electronics for test fixtures.
