Key Accountabilities
  • Reporting to Brownfield Team Associate/Technical Director
  • Basic understanding of geological, geotechnical, and brownfield risks
  • Delivery of projects: basic financial and project management awareness (understanding project finances and working to a budget)
  • Supervise ground investigations and undertake remediation and earthworks validation works
  • Undertake soil sampling and ground gas / groundwater monitoring
  • Prepare Phase 1 & 2 reports
  • Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other project/business stakeholders
  • Provide technical and operational support to the wider Ayesa business including Brownfield North and South Teams
Requirements
  • BSc and/or MSc in Geology / Engineering Geology / Geotechnical Engineering / Hydrogeology / Environmental Sciences
  • Relevant experience up to 2 years, recent graduates also considered
  • Awareness of UK standards and regulations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Keen to learn and improve technical and report‑writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with senior management and clients
  • Basic technical understanding of brownfield engineering and contaminated land
  • Ability to understand complex problems and communicate solutions to clients and agencies
  • Excellent time and organisational skills, able to meet deadlines and budgets
