An opportunity for an experienced fire engineering professional to lead complex projects while helping shape the future of a growing multidisciplinary consultancy. Based in Colchester with hybrid working, this role is suited to a senior leader seeking responsibility across project delivery, team development and business growth within the commercial, residential, healthcare and education sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead complex fire engineering projects.

Review fire strategies and technical reports.

Mentor engineers and support team development.

Strengthen client relationships and win new work.

Contribute to business strategy and growth.

Working closely with clients, design teams and approving authorities, you will provide technical leadership, maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with current UK fire safety legislation.

Skills & Experience Required

Extensive fire engineering consultancy experience.

Strong UK fire safety legislation knowledge.

Experience reviewing complex fire strategies.

Chartered Engineer status desirable.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Commercial awareness, business development experience and the ability to build lasting client relationships are essential.

Salary & Benefits

£80,000 - £120,000 DOE.

Hybrid working with two office days weekly.
