Site Engineer required for highways works in Colchester!

Are you a Site Engineer wanting an outside IR35 contract?

You will be working predominantly over day shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering and setting-out. This includes infrastructure, roads and sewers, drainage, earthworks, kerbing and reinforced concrete works.

As Site Engineer you will be tasked with:

· Liaising with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time

· Offering guidance and direction to more junior members of the team

· Setting out of roads, earthworks, sewers and reinforced concrete structures

· Scanning for services and using CAT and Genny to locate underground utilities

· Keeping daily records of site activities

You will also hold:

· Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures

· Experience across infrastructure, roads and sewers projects

· Strong setting-out experience

· Reinforced concrete experience

· Competency in scanning for services (CAT and Genny)

· Knowledge and experience of high-speed road projects and setting out engineering

· Experience working for a major highways contractor

· Experience with road works, drainage works & 278 works

· SMSTS - desirable
