Job Role: Graduate Civil Engineer
Location: Colchester, Essex

Due to continued growth, we areseekinga motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within a friendly and supportive consultancy environment, working on a diverse range of civil and structural engineering projects across the residential,commercial and industrial sectors.
You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining valuable hands‑on experience in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the design and detailing of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare drawings, calculations,reports and technical documentation.
- Undertake site visits and surveys as required.
- Work alongside senior engineers to develop practical and cost-effective design solutions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, localauthoritiesand other consultants.
- Support project delivery to agreed timescales and budgets.
- Develop technical knowledge and working practices in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (BEng or MEng).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site3D,Info Drainage/Flowor similar software.
- Understanding of highways and drainage design principles.
- Awareness of UK design standards and construction practices.
- Desire to work towards professional qualifications such as Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
- Structured training and mentoring.
- Support towards professional development and ICE membership.
- Exposure to a wide variety of projects and clients.
- Friendly and collaborative working environment.
