About The Role

Due to continued growth across the BTNO portfolio, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Power Commercial team and play a key role in delivering some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in the UK.

Whether you're an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge or a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking an opportunity to lead and influence on major projects, you’ll be part of a collaborative commercial team delivering infrastructure that supports the UK's transition to a low-carbon future.

You’ll work on high-profile energy projects, taking ownership of key commercial activities, building strong relationships across project teams and supply chain partners, and helping to ensure successful project delivery from inception through to completion.

What you’ll be doing
  • Organise information clearly and carry out systematic data checks.
  • Measure, record and value work independently in line with relevant rules and procedures.
  • Review project programmes.
  • Plan commercial activities to align with programme requirements.
  • Understand the impact of delay and disruption on programme performance.
  • Gather information required to specify procurement needs.
  • Understand and document the steps and requirements for procuring suppliers.
  • Manage customer and stakeholder relationships within your area of responsibility.
  • Carry out measurement of works and agreement of valuations with subcontractors.
  • Collate cost and value information.
  • Prepare cost reconciliation statements.
  • Support the development of colleagues within the commercial team.
  • Continue working toward professional chartership with RICS or an equivalent body.
Essential Experience

BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
