HGV Class 2 Driver

At FM Conway, our HGV Driver do far more than drive. They play a vital role in protecting communities, supporting essential wastewater services and keeping critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently.

We're looking for experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team, working on our Wastewater Treatment contract.

You’ll be supporting essential wastewater operations across a variety of environments, including treatment plants, pumping stations and wastewater networks. Working both independently and as part of a supportive team, you'll operate specialist vehicles and equipment to deliver planned and reactive services across our wastewater operations.

No two days are the same. Whether you're operating specialist tankers, carrying out high-pressure water jetting, supporting over-pumping operations or responding to flooding and contaminated water incidents, you'll finish each shift knowing your work has made a genuine difference.

As one of our HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Operate Class 2 liquid waste tankers, safely transporting and handling liquid waste in line with company procedures and environmental legislation.
• Support planned and reactive wastewater operations across treatment plants, pumping stations and wastewater networks.
• Carry out a range of specialist services, including high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ), tankering and drainage cleaning and maintenance.
• Respond to flooding risks and operational incidents, including the safe removal of contaminated water from infrastructure sites.
• Work within confined spaces when required, following all relevant safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Accurately record completed work using our app-based reporting system, ensuring clear communication with the wider operational team

You'll ideally have:

We're looking for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work, takes pride in delivering a great service and thrives as part of a close-knit team. You'll hold a Class 2 (Category

C) Driving Licence and a valid Driver CPC, with a strong commitment to health and safety and a positive, reliable attitude. Confined Space Entry and High-Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) qualifications would be advantageous, alongside previous experience within the wastewater, drainage, water, utilities or environmental services sectors. If you bring the right experience and mindset, we'll provide additional training and support to help you continue developing your career with FM Conway.
