The role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient and accurate Cashiering function in a robust control environment whilst providing support to colleagues in the team to ensure that operational processes and procedures are followed.
- Transactional management of the receipts and expense bank accounts.
- Liaise with care homes and customers for payments received and home banking information.
- Responsible for maintaining the Direct Debit Ledger.
- Management of the deposit suspense account.
- Monitoring cashier mailboxes, printing remittances, cash, banking and reconciliation.
- Maintaining the remittance log.
- Producing refunds cheques to customer account on the finance system.
- Experience in an administrative role ideally within a finance team.
- Excellent data management skills.
- Ability to pick up and learn the company's financial system.
