Office-Based, Up to £60,000 + Discretionary Bonus

A highly progressive, technology-driven Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Essex is seeking an experienced Technical Paraplanner to join its growing team.

With approximately £250 million AUM, an average client portfolio of £1m-£1.3m, and a strong focus on data, efficiency, and process, this is an ideal role for a detail-driven paraplanner who thrives in an adviser-led, professional environment.

The Role

You will support 2 advisers, working across a sophisticated client bank of high-value clients. This role is focused on delivering high-quality technical output and maintaining impeccable data standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing high-quality suitability reports, technical calculations, and client documentation
• Supporting advisers with pre- and post-advice work across investments, pensions, and planning strategies
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, registers, and data
• Ensuring operational excellence and adherence to internal processes
• Working closely with advisers in a fast-paced, office-based environment
• Leveraging technology to improve efficiency, workflow, and outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

This role will suit a paraplanner who:

• Produces exceptional technical work and professional client letters
• Is highly detail-oriented, diligent, and reliable
• Is operationally strong and comfortable managing large volumes of client data
• Is confident working in a tech-led, adviser-driven firm
• Is process-focused and enjoys improving systems and efficiency

While Chartered status is not essential, strong technical competence is expected. Real-world ability, efficiency, and professionalism are prioritised over formal qualifications alone.
