Finance Assistant

A client of mine is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team who can manage day-to-day accounting activities. They're looking for someone that is motivated to have a career in finance, preferably has a few years experience and is looking to progress.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for

• Communicating with suppliers
• Bank reconciliations and cash fund monitoring
• Credit card expense processing and validation
• Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliaitions
• Assist with prepayments and the fixed asset register
• Support with monthly management accounts

RequirementsAs a Finance Assistant, you will need

• A few years experience in finance would be advantageous
• Strong numerical ability
• Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Motivated, proactive and driven
• Strong team player, with the initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
