We are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for one of our established clients in Colchester. You will be supporting and handling the day-to-day financial activities.

Matching invoices, driving internal invoice approvals. Liaising with the invoice approver and supplier to resolve queries. Posting invoices into the accounting system.
Processing staff expenses and company credit cards to ensure transactions are coded. Correctly filing company expenses receipts.
Issuing customer credit notes, resolving account queries.
Processing bank reconciliations and eCommerce reconciliations. Ensure refunds have been processed.
Providing accurate data to support month end and year end. Resolving queries in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with finance deadlines at month end and year end.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Strong attention to detail
The ability to prioritise their own workload and be proactive
Confident to handle large volumes of transactions
Must have excellent communication skills
A flexible approach

The working hours are:
Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.30
