We are seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join our Haematology and Transfusion Team in Colchester. • Perform routine and complex haematological analyses using equipment including Sysmex XN, Werfen ACL TOP, and Grifols Erytra
• Participate in transfusion laboratory operations, ensuring the safe and accurate provision of blood products
• Maintain quality assurance and adhere to professional and departmental guidelines
  
  Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to meet patient needs and enhance service delivery
• Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff and students
• Accurately record and report test results, maintaining excellent data management practices

• HCPC registration is mandatory
• Car driver is not essential but may offer convenience for commuting
